Pancake Motors

The pancake motors from AST utilize a flat disc armature to offer an ultra flat and low cost motor. The motors range from 4.3 to 9.05 inches in diameter, with continuous torque ratings from 51 oz-in to 453 oz-in. These low Inertia DC servo motors have very long brush life, extremely good speeds. A selection of options allows the user to tailor the motors to meet their specific needs.

9CD / 12CD Series Motors

The 9/12 CD series motors utilize a flat motor technology. These motors have continuous torque ratings up to 135 oz/in. The operate up to 4000 RPM and have an intergal tachometer as one option. They are also prepared for optical encoder mounting.

16CD / 16CDT Series Motors

The CD16 series motors also utilize the flat motor technology. These motors have an industrial grade housing for rugged applications. These motors have a continuous torque of up to 30 in/lbs. They operate up to 4000 rpm and come with tachomerter, encoder and brake options.

6AFG / 9AFG / 12AFG Series Motors

The 6/9/12AFG motors utilize a flat armature technology. These motors incorporate a low profile gear reducer. The gear ratios offered are from 15:1 to 150:1. These products have continuous torque ratings up to 250 in lbs. They have standard options such as integral tachometers and can be prepared for optical encoder mounting.

9AFB / 12AFB Series Motors

The 9/12AFB series motors utilize a flat armature technology. These motors are ultra thin and have continuous torque ratings uo to 40 oz in. These motors can be propared for optical encoder mounting as an option.

KN Series Motors

The KN series motors utilize a flat armature technology. These motors are high precision products that have an ultra thin design. These motors have a contunuous torque rating up to 460 oz in. The KN series motors have integral tachometers and can be prepared for optical encoder mounting as options.

CDS80 / 100 / 120 / 150 Series Motors

The CDS series of motors incorporate a unique disc rotor assembly. These motors have high effeciency ratings with operating voltages ranging from 24-96 VDC. The motors have rated torque ranges up ti 265 in lbs. These motors are an ideal solution for battery powered applications.
